Jan Aniol is a seasoned software and embedded systems expert with over 15 years of experience in software architecture, system design, and embedded computing. As the Head of Software at PLC2, he leads cutting-edge software development initiatives, focusing on FPGA-based solutions, high-performance computing, and real-time embedded systems.

Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Software System Architect at PLC2, where he played a crucial role in defining and optimizing software frameworks for FPGA acceleration. His extensive experience also includes a distinguished tenure at Stryker, where he held key positions such as Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Software Engineer, working on mission-critical software for medical devices. His career began at Testo SE & Co. KGaA, where he honed his expertise in embedded software, product development, and system integration.

Throughout his career, Jan Aniol has worked extensively in agile software development teams, leveraging iterative methodologies to enhance collaboration, adaptability, and efficiency in software projects.

Jan Aniol holds a Master of Science in Intelligent Embedded Microsystems from the University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
